DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to invite you to Gwinnett County’s annual Black History Month Celebration on Wednesday\, February 11\, from  6:30pm to 8:30pm at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center located at 75 Langley Drive\, Lawrenceville GA 30046.   \n This year’s celebration marks the 100th anniversary of Black History Month commemorations. In recognition of this milestone\, we honor the national theme\, A Century of Black History Commemorations\, reflecting on the history\, culture\, and enduring contributions of Black Americans. \n The night features remarks from keynote speaker Dr. Illya E. Davis of Morehouse College\, a performance by South Gwinnett High School’s Cosmic Boom Drumline\, youth performances\, light refreshments inspired by Black cultural traditions\, and a kids’ zone with interactive activities. \nWe’d be honored to have you as part of this historical celebration.
